Meghan Ellis
Glasgow-based Entertainment Journalist
Meghan has been covering internet culture, anime, gaming, and speculative fiction since 2015. She’s written for IGN, The Guardian, All the Anime and Shoreline of Infinity, and has appeared on the BBC, where she brought the joy of fandom to the general public.
Meghan has also worked as a copywriter, and once upon a time achieved an MA in English Literature. She enters game jams as a narrative designer, pixel artist, and composer.
As a member of the Glasgow SF Writers’ Circle, her creative writing explores the intersection between ordinary people and extraordinary circumstances. Meghan was nominated for the Cymera Prize for Speculative Short Fiction in both 2025 and 2026.
The Weaver, her first short story, is due to be published later this year.
